L’Aurage in the Bordeaux region is an amazing value and it has been owned by Caroline and Louis Mitjavile, known as "Loulou", since 2007.
This 22-hectare single vineyard has a great first-rate clay-limestone soil that gives it its distinct flavor.
The family's know-how of advanced winemaking techniques, which include harvesting mature grapes, maturing them in new Radoux barrels, and crafting a single cuvée for the entire property, can be seen in other properties such as Roc de Cambes from Bourg and Tertre Rotebœuf from Saint-Emilion.
