Taster's notes

Pasal de Esile 2020 has a greenish-yellow colour. It has a medium-high aromatic intensity on the nose, with notes of fruit, ripe apple, pear, and white flowers, as well as mineral undertones. It has a fresh taste on the palate, with a smooth and balanced mid-palate. The acidity is just right for preserving and structuring the wine. The wine goes well with seafood, paella, and cheese. We recommend a serving temperature of 8ºC.

The Winery

An old rectory of 1000 m² from the 17th century gives its name to the Rectoral de Amandi winery, located in the heart of Amandi, in the province of Lugo, in the northeast of Spain. Bodegas Rectoral de Amandi is a reference in the whole Ribeira Sacra D.O., not only for being the most important in volume, with more than 2 million bottles per year, but also for being directly responsible for the development of the D.O. beyond its borders, putting its name on the map all over the world.
