Elaboration

Great red wine from A.O.C Côtes de Bordeaux made of 85% Malbec and 15% Merlot, under the guidance of the oenologist Pascal Poussevin. Traditionally, the winemaking in the bordelaise region is conducted in stainless steel vats regulated by a system of thermoregulation. The fermentation temperature does not exceed 28/30 degrees centigrade which is the optimum temperature for keeping the finesse of the fruit.

Taster´s notes

The wine presents a dark garnet color. On the nose, it has notes of black fruits, wood, and pepper. On the palate, there is an exceptional freshness with melted tannins and a spicy finish. We recommend pairing this wine with roasted red meats, ham, and lamb. We suggest a serving temperature of between 16ºC and 18ºC.

The Winery

Bernadette and Joseph ARBO have been developing the estate since 1998. Today it has a surface area of 51 hectares divided up into two appellations: Francs cotes de Bordeaux with 38 hectares devoted to the production of red wine and 3 hectares which are set aside for the production of white wine; Castillon cotes de Bordeaux, 10 hectares have been developed for the production of red wine.
