Emilio Valerio Amburza Organic 2016 is a Spanish red wine from Navarra. The winery owns 25 hectares of its vineyard, which is divided into 15 small farms on the Montejurra slopes in the Tierra de Estella (west of Navarra) and is farmed using biodynamic methods without the use of herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic products.
This wine is a blend of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tempranillo from various vineyards in the Dicastillo municipality, with varying soils, elevations, and orientations.
Each variety is vinified separately in terms of production. Except for Tempranillo and Cabernet, which were made together, the varieties were aged separately in French oak tanks of 20 and 50 hl and 500 l barrels. Larger wooden tanks, 50 and 80 hl were used for the assembly.
