Taster's notes
Terras Gauda Oak 2019 has a golden yellow colour. On the nose, it takes you on a one-of-a-kind olfactory voyage. It opens with tremendous fruity strength, with smells of orange peel and extremely ripe peach highlighted, and is connected with delicate notes of the chamomile flower. Light spicy recollections of star anise gravitate in a complimentary and lower olfactory stage. Simultaneously, and in annonia, it reveals the gentle fragrant contribution of French oak, which adds richness with aromas of toast, pastry cream, and nutmeg. It strikes on the palate with its synchronicity of great power and structure, as well as its bright freshness owing to a wonderful fruit acidity. It is both elegant and luxurious, resulting in a smooth, enveloping, and unctuous wine. We return to the fruity and flowery sensations, as well as the toasted contribution of the superb woods, thanks to its lengthy finish. We recommend pairing the wine with starters, rice, meat and fish. We suggest a serving temperature between 9ºC and 12ºC.
