Tandem Ars Nova 2014 begins with a name that carries both a musical history and a winemaking philosophy. Ars Nova — new art in Latin — was a revolutionary 14th-century musical movement that transformed composition by adding volume and complexity through polyphonic sound. The principle applies directly to this wine: a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot harvested from vineyards above 500 metres in the mountain terroir of Navarra, where altitude, temperature variation and the natural complexity of the landscape produce wines of layered aromatic expression and genuine personality. Founded in January 2003 by Alicia Eyaralar and José María Fraile — two winemakers who spent long careers in the industry before finally fulfilling a shared dream — Compañía Vitivinícola Tandem takes its name from the Latin word meaning "at last": the feeling of two people who knew exactly what they wanted to make and finally had the chance to make it. Ars Nova is the artistic expression of that conviction — a wine of many layers, genuine elegance and the unmistakable freshness of mountain Navarra.
