The House of Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by André Michel Pierlot — and took its enduring name when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, widow of Eugène Laurent, combined the two family names and expanded the business with the vision and conviction that shaped a Grandes Marques Champagne house of lasting international significance. Acquired by the Nonancourt family in 1939 and guided by their stewardship ever since, Laurent-Perrier has maintained its position as one of Champagne's most respected and most consistently excellent family-owned houses — producing La Cuvée Brut as the most direct and most eloquent expression of that over 200-year legacy. Hand-selected Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, vinified by classic white wine methods, second fermentation in glass and a minimum of 36 months of yeast ageing — producing the bright straw yellow, creamy foam and fine persistent bubbles that pure-blooded Champagne of this provenance and this patience always delivers with complete and effortless authority.
