Elaboration

El Ilusionista Crianza is a remarkable Spanish wine from Ribera del Duero crafted with Tempranillo grapes from one of the freshest and youngest vineyards, boasting vines aged between 6 and 10 years.

The youthfulness of the vines lends a special touch to El Ilusionista, creating a wine that is fresh and vibrant, bursting with rich fruit flavors. With every sip, you'll experience the delightful nuances of the luscious fruits that were carefully nurtured in these thriving vineyards.

To further enhance its character, El Ilusionista Crianza is aged for a period of 14 months in barrels. This aging process adds depth and complexity to the wine, allowing its flavors to mature and harmonize into a truly captivating symphony for your taste buds.

Winemaker's Notes

Intense cherry color with garnet edges. The nose has an intense aroma of candied fruit, sweet spices perfectly integrated with a quality wood that makes it elegant. In the mouth it is very tasty, strong and fruity, with ripe tannins. We suggest pairing this wine with all kinds of meat and steaks, especially grilled meat and stews. It is also excellent with matured cheeses. We recommend a serving temperature of 16ºC.

About the Winery

The winery is located in the denomination of origin Ribera del Duero, in the southeast of Castilla y León, in the highest part of the Duero, and extends from the east to the west, forming an extensive channel in the upper part of the plateau. The vineyards extend along 110 kilometres of the river, penetrating eastwards into the province of Burgos. The soils in this area are complex. In the countryside, at the foot of the valley, they are alluvial with sand and clay. In the higher part of the valley sides, it is composed of limestone.
