The traditional ancestral olive oil groves are located in a strategic enclave for the production and elaboration of excellent quality olive juice: in the heart of the northern countryside of the province of Ja├ęn.

The harvest season of the Picual olive variety starts between 14 and 24 October. Two hours after harvesting, the olives arrive at the mill, to start the olive oil process. Only the best olives are used to produce this excellent extra virgin olive oil.

The elaboration process after harvesting consists in cleaning the olives, where they are separated from impurities from the field. Then, they are stored in stainless steel hoppers, ready to be pressed.

This extra virgin olive oil is cold pressed, preserving all the nutrients, benefits and antioxidants.

Taster's notes

This Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) is made of the Picual variety, harvested at the end of October when the variety is mature and has a greenish colour. This EVOO has a high-intensity flavour of fig, tomato, banana peel and almond. With its fresh and spicy taste, this extra virgin olive oil is ideal for adding accompanying raw ingredients, such as salads and a cheese plate. An absolute delight from the heart of the Jaen region.
