Little Paris — Micul Paris — was the name given to Bucharest in the interwar period, when the Romanian capital was celebrated across Europe for its effervescence, its culture and the bohemian spirit that defined the era. The Îngeri din Micul Paris collection at Crama Basilescu was created as a tribute to that golden age — wines that revive the junctures of Romanian bohemian life with the same care, elegance and cultural pride that the period deserves. The Fetească Albă 2021 is the white wine expression of that tribute — 100% Fetească Albă from the DOC-CMD appellation of Dealul Mare in Urlați, grown on the celebrated hillside terroir that has shaped Romanian winemaking excellence for generations and fermented and aged in oak barrels to develop the vanilla and almond notes that add a refined complexity to the variety's natural floral and fruity character.
