Vino de la Tierra de Castilla stretches across the vast central plateau of Spain — a designation that covers some of the country's most ancient vine territory and some of its most undervalued white wine producers. Vinos y Bodegas Muñoz is one of them. The Colección de la Familia Blanco is built from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc vines of over 15 years, grown in the Castilian landscape where warm days and cool nights give both varieties a natural balance of ripeness and freshness that the winemaking then handles with genuine care: cold maceration at 10°C for 11 hours to extract full aromatic depth, fermentation kept below 14°C to protect the fruit's natural character, and four months in oak barrels to add the vanilla, pastry and textural richness that make this wine feel considerably more considered than its category suggests. This is a family estate making a family wine — honest, well-crafted and generous in every glass.
