Elaboration
Explore a true Spanish gem from the sunny slopes of La Seca with R&G Rueda Verdejo. This wine is more than a drink; it's a story in a bottle, expertly made from two special plots – #22 and #66. It captures the spirit of its origins, originating from 40-year-old vines thriving in rocky soil that lends their grapes a unique flavor. The making of this Verdejo white wine is a careful process. The grapes are gently picked and then softly macerated with their skins for eight hours at a cool 7ºC. This step is crucial for releasing the full range of Verdejo's aromatic profile. The fermentation happens slowly at 14-16ºC, ensuring the wine's flavor is fully developed but remains delicate. Afterwards, it ages on fine lees, gaining richness in body through fatty acids and glycerine, resulting in a smooth texture.

When you smell it, you'll notice a mix of tropical and floral aromas with a touch of melon and a hint of minerals. It's an intense and inviting scent. R&G Rueda Verdejo has a perfect balance of acidity, depth, and volume, ending in a long and broad finish.
This charismatic Verdejo is a great match for a variety of dishes. It pairs well with both white and blue fish, complements pastas or risottos, and goes beautifully with tender white meats. No matter what it's served with, this wine turns every meal into a special occasion.
