Elaboration
Experience the exquisite Arrayán Rose 2020, a Spanish rose wine hailing from Méntrida, in the region of Toledo. Crafted exclusively from 100% hairy Grenache grapes, this wine offers a unique profile with slightly higher acidity and lower alcohol content compared to red Grenache. The grapes are sourced from the La Verdosa estate, located in Santa Cruz del Retamar at an elevation of around 500 meters, where sandy soils impart distinct characteristics.
The vintage of 2020 witnessed a rainy spring during blooming, resulting in a captivating expression of the wine. Bodegas Arrayán, founded in 1999 by José María Entrecanales and María Marsans, embarked on this personal venture on their "La Verdosa" estate in Santa Cruz del Retamar, Toledo. This project showcases a vision more akin to the New Wine World rather than the modest DO Manchegas, Mé.

About the Winery
Bodegas Arrayán came into existence in 1999 as a personal endeavor by José María Entrecanales and María Marsans in the enchanting region of Toledo. To create their vision, they enlisted the expertise of Richard Smart, an esteemed Australian vineyard specialist. Smart conducted a thorough analysis of the terrain, soil composition, climatic conditions, optimal exposures, orientations, and grape varieties best suited to achieve their desired objective.
The initial planting on the estate's highest section included Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. This careful selection ensured that only the most suitable grape varieties were cultivated, allowing Bodegas Arrayán to establish a strong foundation for their winemaking journey.
Discover the fruits of their labor and experience the exceptional wines crafted by Bodegas Arrayán. With meticulous planning and dedication, they have created a range of wines that reflect the unique terroir of Toledo.
