The world's most rigorous wine critics taste thousands of bottles every year. They give high scores to a small number. They give very high scores to very few indeed.
Every wine in this collection has been verified by at least one major international critic. Several have been verified by all of them. One costs €22 and received 97 points at Decanter — Best in Show, the highest single award the competition gives. Another received 95 points simultaneously from Robert Parker, James Suckling, and Wine Spectator — a triple critical consensus that happens perhaps a dozen times a year across the world's entire wine production.
These are not marketing scores. They are the independent verdicts of critics who have no relationship with the producer and no interest in anything except the wine.
