Cava Brut Nature Organic 2017 is a Spanish sparkling wine made with organic grapes. This exquisite blend comprises of 45% Xarel-lo, grown in the Penedès depression between 280m and 350m above sea level, 35% Macabeu, grown in the lower coastal Penedès region up to 200m high, and 20% Parellada, grown in the pre-coastal area at a height of 450m.

This exceptional Spanish organic sparkling wine features a pale color with a shiny rim and distinct lime peel and citrus flavors. Delicate floral notes accompany its refreshing taste, which intensifies with oxygenation, revealing tropical tones of green pineapple and mango.

This cava also boasts herbaceous aniseed and vine leaf shoot flavors, followed by a touch of spice and a subtle hint of yeast. A slightly astringent note accompanies its very refreshing finish, with a medium aftertaste that leaves you wanting more.

About the Winery

In the early 1980s, Maria Rigol Ordi longed for the family cavas that had been a part of her life for as long as she could remember. Determined to create her own, she teamed up with her son, Francesc Manobens Rigol, and began producing their own cava in the modest cellar of their home in the heart of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia village. Maria Rigol had been immersed in the world of cava from a young age. Her grandfather, Modest Rigol Tubella, was involved in marketing wine and introduced her to the world of producing what was then known as champagne in 1897. Together, Maria and Francesc embarked on a journey of passion and dedication, using their extensive knowledge and expertise to create their own unique cava. With a deep respect for traditional winemaking practices and a commitment to excellence, they perfected their craft, ensuring that every bottle of cava they produced was of the highest quality. Today, the legacy of Maria Rigol Ordi lives on through their exceptional cava, which continues to delight wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
