Champagne Canard Duchêne

France
Champagne Canard Duchêne is a winery located in the Champagne region in France, at the heart of the Montagne de Reims. The beginnings of the winery date back to the 19th century, when a cooper and a winegrower´s daughter decided to create in 1868 the eponymous Champagne House, Canard-Duchêne.
From their native village, they dedicate themselves together to the project of a lifetime. In the heart of the Montagne de Reims, the village of Ludes enjoys a unique location. On this plateau overlooking the Champagne plain, the landscape is divided between forests of rare species and gently sloping vineyards. A true oenological heritage of the House, the Pinot Noir draws its strength from the remarkable soil of the Montagne de Reims, the fruit of 70 million years of evolution and a unique combination of chalk, sand, clay and limestone.
