Elaboration
The question Dominique Laporte — Best Sommelier of France — asked was simple and completely demanding: what would a great Muscat taste like if the alcohol were removed without removing anything else? Virgin Muscat is the answer. Crafted from organic Languedoc Muscat grapes at Le Petit Béret, a producer rooted in the Occitanie region's ancient traditions of conviviality and agricultural excellence, the wine preserves the full aromatic richness of the variety — roses, lychees and ripe pineapple — with the balance between sweetness and freshness that only a sommelier of Laporte's calibre could engineer without the structural support that alcohol normally provides. The result was recognised with a Bronze medal at the IWSC 2023 and stands as one of the most genuinely impressive alcohol-free wines in the Dis&Dis collection: a wine that belongs on any table, at any occasion, for any guest — regardless of whether they are drinking or not. At Dis&Dis, this is exactly the kind of discovery we exist to make.
Winemaker's Notes
Bright and inviting in the glass — the warm, pale colour of southern French Muscat at its most generous. On the nose, an immediately seductive aromatic portrait: roses and lychees with ripe pineapple, the characteristic floral intensity of Languedoc Muscat preserved completely intact by the expertise of France's finest sommelier. On the palate, a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness — generous without heaviness, with a touch of bitterness that extends the experience elegantly and keeps every sip interesting to the last. Best enjoyed as an aperitif or with foie gras and mango chutney. Serve chilled between 7°C and 9°C. Once opened, consume within 48 hours and keep refrigerated.

About the Winery
Le Petit Béret is a producer with a vision as clear as it is timely: to unite people through France's rich tradition of conviviality, using the agricultural treasures of Occitanie and the ancient craftsmanship of the region to create alcohol-free wines of genuine quality and character. Located in the heart of the Occitanie region, their work is driven by passion for sharing — and by the conviction that great winemaking expertise, applied to the challenge of alcohol-free production, can produce something the world genuinely needs. Developed in collaboration with Dominique Laporte, the Best Sommelier of France, Virgin Muscat is the most eloquent expression of that conviction: an organic, award-winning alcohol-free wine that proves the pleasure of a great glass has nothing to do with the alcohol inside it. Dare to Discover what the sober-curious revolution tastes like when France's finest sommelier is leading it.
