Rose wine, France, made with Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, varieties grown in the mountains of the famous Pic-Saint-Loup in Languedoc. They give rise to a delicious rose, with the scent of garrigue, a classic color of pale salmon. It is juicy, but also endowed with firmness, due to the calcareous soils and the large diurnal temperature changes for which this region is known. Its plant component may remind you of some of its Provencal cousins. This wine is produced by pressing the grapes directly.
