Castillo Perelada is one of Catalonia's most extraordinary wine addresses — a winery with more than six centuries of unbroken winemaking tradition in the Empordà, whose ambition to reflect the personality of its estates in every bottle has never been expressed more completely than in the new Perelada cellar: the first winery in Europe to achieve LEED Gold sustainability certification, designed by RCR Arquitectes, winners of the 2017 Pritzker Prize — architecture's highest honour. Since 1987, the estate has also hosted one of Spain's most celebrated music festivals, drawing exceptional performers to the Empordà landscape every summer. The Stars Organic Cava is the festival's tribute: a nine-month bottle-aged organic Cava dedicated to the artists who grace the Perelada stage and shine, as the label says, like the stars in the Empordà sky.
