The Winery
Viñas del Bierzo was founded in 1963, being the first cooperative winery to be established in the Bierzo region. In the beginning, 100 members made up the winery, which gave it an almost "family" character. The large Viñas del Bierzo family currently has more than 900 members. For more than 50 years, this winery has been producing and bottling quality wines under the watchful and demanding eye of the Regulatory Council of the Bierzo Designation of Origin.
