Jota de Toro Tinto Joven DJ 2019 is a wine that carries a story on its label and a dance in its soul. Bodegas Díez Gómez was born from the complementary passions of Óscar — an expert in winemaking — and Laura — an expert in folklore dance — and the wine reflects that partnership completely. La Jota is one of Spain's oldest and most traditional folk dances, and in Toro it is as much a part of the cultural landscape as the ancient vines and the Duero River that has always defined this extraordinary denomination. The blend of 80% Tinta de Toro and 20% Garnacha comes from 25 to 30-year-old free-standing vines on the family's own 12 hectares, harvested before full maturation to preserve the natural freshness and primary varietal aromas that make this wine immediately and genuinely irresistible. Fermented at controlled low temperatures without skin contact to maximise acidity, freshness and uniqueness — this is a wine made with genuine winemaking expertise applied entirely in the service of joy.
