Las Tierras El Teso Alto 2015 is a Spanish red wine from Toro. The grapes used for this wine are, Javier Rodríguez's Las Tierras, made from a single vineyard located in El Pego.The grapes are collected in boxes and selected in the winery at the selection table. They are protected by dry ice before going to the wooden vats where the fermentation takes place. It remains with the skins for 25-30 days. After pressing, a part of it goes to new barrels of 225, 300, and 500 litres where the malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine remains on its lees during the winter and is subsequently transferred to new barrels where it remains for three years. The barrels are made up of 80% French oak and 20% American oak.
