Grown on a single certified estate in the south of Navarra, where the Ebro River carves the landscape, El Cierzo brings its cool, drying wind from the north, and El Moncayo rises in the distance to shape a microclimate that no other property in the appellation can replicate, this 100% Chardonnay is the product of one of the most distinctive addresses in Spanish wine. Bodega Pago de Cirsus is a family winery in the fullest sense — every grape grown, vinified and bottled on the same property, every decision made with the conviction that place and variety must speak for themselves. In 2014, the estate received the D.O.P. Pago Bolandin certification — Spain's highest quality qualification for wine production — a formal recognition of what the land had always promised. The Chardonnay is vinified in stainless steel to preserve every dimension of its natural freshness and aromatic character — producing a white wine of bright, immediate pleasure and the quiet, confident quality that only a truly exceptional terroir can deliver.

Winemaker's Notes

Bright straw yellow with light, luminous reflections — a colour that tells you immediately this is a wine built for freshness, pleasure and the kind of everyday elegance that makes it disappear faster than expected. On the nose, tropical fruit opens with natural generosity and a sweetly inviting warmth — the signature of Navarra Chardonnay grown at its most expressive, in a terroir shaped by wind, river and mountain. On the palate, the wine sharpens and focuses: compact and clean, with notes of citrus and fresh herbs adding a structural lift that carries through to a finish more persistent and satisfying than the wine's easy character might suggest. A Chardonnay that gives immediately and lingers quietly — and makes the second glass feel like the most natural thing in the world. Best enjoyed with vegetable-based starters, fish and shellfish, white meats, fresh cheeses, and canned fish. Serve between 7 and 10°C.
