Carchelo Selecto 2015 is composed of 50% Monastrell, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, and 5% Tempranillo grapes, each contributing its unique characteristics to the final product.

The meticulous process begins with the careful hand-harvesting of the grapes, ensuring that only the finest fruit is selected. They are then delicately placed in 250-kilogram containers, preserving their integrity and quality.

Upon reaching the winery, the grapes undergo the first stage of transformation. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, utilizing indigenous yeasts. This allows for a natural and authentic expression of the grapes' flavors and aromas.

Next comes the intriguing step of malolactic fermentation. This process unfolds gradually in 225-liter French oak barrels, adding complexity and enhancing the wine's overall character. It's a slow and patient journey, allowing the wine to develop its unique personality.

Now, it's time for the wine to mature gracefully. It spends a remarkable 18 months in new French oak barrels, a period of time where it undergoes a beautiful transformation. The interaction with the oak imparts subtle nuances and textures, enriching the wine's profile.

Through this intricate journey, the wine emerges as a refined and harmonious blend, showcasing the best qualities of each grape variety. The dedication and craftsmanship invested in its elaboration result in a truly exceptional wine, ready to be savored and celebrated.
