The grapes come from vineyards around the towns of Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón, Sajazarra, Tirgo, and Villaseca – all located in the beautiful Rioja Alta region. Grapes grown between 500 to 600 meters give the wine a richness and complexity that can only be found in this region. After selecting the best grapes, the wine is aged in American oak barrels for 12 months to help bring out its flavor. It's then given an additional 6 months of maturation in the bottle before it's ready for those who appreciate a superior tasting wine. Cherry color with violet edges and a high robe. The nose shows great fruitiness, strawberries, currants. Perfectly assembled with toasted and spicy notes from the aging process. In the mouth it is broad, graceful, with a marked acidity and good structure that makes it balanced.
