Usted Organic 2015 is a truly special Spanish organic red wine from the Emporda region. What sets it apart is the winery's unique approach, where personalized service is at the heart of crafting each bottle. This means that every step of the winemaking process is tailored and customized, making it an extraordinary and one-of-a-kind experience that cannot be replicated systematically.

The vinification of each parcel, or section of the vineyard, takes place in small stainless-steel tanks and 55-hectolitre wooden vats. These wooden vats are then used for the crucial process of malolactic fermentation and for aging certain batches of the wine. The use of these specific vessels imparts distinct flavors and characteristics to the wine, contributing to its exceptional quality and taste.

It's important to note that all viticultural and vinification processes employed by the winery adhere to strict organic standards. In fact, the winery obtained its organic label in September 2012. This means that the grapes used to make Usted Organic 2015 are cultivated and processed in harmony with nature, without the use of synthetic chemicals or pesticides. This commitment to organic practices ensures that the wine not only delights the senses but also reflects a deep respect for the environment.

Winemaker's Notes

Usted Organic 2015 is a Spanish wine with a garnet robe colour. The nose of the wine is intense and fine, with the cherry in brandy notes. It is complex and elegant. This wine has lovely aromas of ripe black and red fruits, spices, truffle, cocoa, lead (minerality). It also has a long and salivating finish with elegance. The tannins in this wine are silky and melted. This outstanding and excellent wine is perfect to pair with a piece of red meat, aged cheeses, or a cigar. It is best served at a temperature of 14-16 ºC

About the Winery

Terra Remota is a winery founded in 1999 when the Bournazeau Florensa family acquired the property of 40 ha. It is located in the northeast corner of the Iberian Peninsula, in the Alt Empordà region of Girona, and it belongs to the DO Empordà. Terra Remota is a winery born with a marked sensitivity towards the territory where it is located and consistent in its integration with the natural landscape that surrounds it. All of this is the backbone of Terra Remota's philosophy and is the basis of its actions in all senses of the word.
