Intense garnet red color, on the nose it is fruity, scented with notes of cherry and toast. Its mouth is wide, fat, fresh, persistent and with hints of currant and violets. Its label is made with crushed slate from the vineyard and hand-glued on each bottle. The Mencía grape is also perfect for game meats, very common in El Bierzo. Needless to say, you have the pleasure of tasting a Mencía wine with a good plate of acorn-fed Iberian ham, cured meat from León or any type of sausage such as sausage, so typical of the area. A service temperature of 15ºC is recommended.
