Cooking time: 30 minutes
Prepare the Marinade
Begin by cleaning the chicken wings and cutting them into three parts, discarding the wing tips. In a mixing bowl, combine the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Set aside a quarter of this marinade in the refrigerator for later use.
Marinate the Wings
Add the chicken wings to the remaining marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Allow the wings to marinate in the fridge for approximately three hours.
Bake the Wings
Preheat your oven to 220°C. Grease a baking tray with a little oil or butter, then place the marinated wings on the tray. Bake for 30 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Serve
Serve the wings hot, with the reserved marinade from the fridge.
Accompaniments
These baked chicken wings pair beautifully with a fresh salad and the reserved marinade. For a heartier meal, consider adding fries or mashed potatoes.
