AOC Saint Emilion
Château La Fleur de Boüard is the dream of Hubert de Boüard de Laforest come true.
Thanks to his technical and enological know-how, as well as an ecological approach to wine growing, he has managed to produce extraordinary wines with elegance that can stand among the best Bordeaux appellations.
Located in the heart of the Right Bank, at Lalande-de-Pomerol and close to Saint-Emilion's 1er Grand Cru Classé, Chateau La Fleur de Boüard features 25 hectares (60 acres) of terroir composed by a mixture of clay and gravel on the Néac plateau, as well as large gravel soil.
The triple grape variety used for production (80% Merlot + 20% Cabernet Franc & Sauvignon) is harvested by hand with utmost care before being vinified in a meticulous process marked by gravity transport.
With such effort and attention to detail, it's no wonder why Château La Fleur de Boüard have become one of the top wineries in France.
