AR Colheita Especial 2019 is crafted by Adega de Redondo, a winery located in the heart of Alentejo — one of Portugal's most ancient and celebrated wine territories, where centuries of vine cultivation have shaped both the landscape and the communities that tend it. The wine undergoes a careful pre fermentation cold maceration to preserve the natural aromatic complexity of the fruit, followed by temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats at 24°C. The result is a wine of genuine quality and international recognition, awarded Gold at the Gilbert and Gaillard International Challenge, Silver at AWC Vienna and the International Wine Challenge, and Bronze at the IWSC — a remarkable collection of accolades that confirms this as one of Alentejo's most accomplished everyday wines.

Winemaker's Notes

Intense, deep ruby red with exceptional vibrancy and presence. On the nose, complex and inviting with floral and spicy notes beautifully framing the wine's natural red fruit character — a layered and genuinely expressive Alentejo portrait. On the palate, dense and creamy with elegance and freshness in pleasing balance, carrying through to a long and satisfying finish. A wine of real quality and genuine everyday pleasure. Best enjoyed with lamb and red meats. Serve between 16°C and 18°C.
