Alta Alella is a family winery in the truest sense — Josep Maria and Cristina have spent their lives sharing the culture of wine and Cava, and their daughters Mireia and Georgina grew up surrounded by vineyards, harvests and bottles, absorbing knowledge, passion and dedication to transparency as something entirely natural and completely inherited. Located just steps from the Mediterranean Sea and a few kilometres from Barcelona, the estate farms organically in the D.O. Alella — a small, historically significant appellation where Monastrell expresses a character of violet, red fruit and persistent complexity that no other variety in this coastal landscape produces with the same distinctive authority. The Laietà Rosé is built entirely around that authority: cold macerated for 10 hours to extract the perfect pale tile colour and floral must, fermented at 15°C in stainless steel, then given a minimum of 30 months of traditional method Gran Reserva ageing — the most patient and most completely realised expression of what this family, this land and this variety can achieve together.
