Elaboration

This is an outstanding red wine from the famous Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation in France. It is made exclusively from 100% Merlot grapes, known for their rich and flavorful qualities.

The grapes are carefully chosen by hand, using a sorting table and an optical eye machine to ensure only the best ones are selected. The talented winemaker, Coralie de Boüard de Laforest, employs a meticulous process to create this wine.

First, the grapes undergo a prefermentation soak at a temperature of 7.5º to 10ºC. Following that, there is an alcoholic fermentation and maceration period that lasts for 3 to 5 weeks, allowing the wine to develop its unique character. The malolactic fermentation takes place in wooden barrels, adding further complexity to the wine.

Lastly, the wine ages for an impressive 18 to 24 months in oak barrels, allowing it to mature and gain even more depth and flavor. This red wine is truly exceptional and is sure to impress with its exquisite taste and quality.

Taster's notes

The wine has a beautiful deep and dense color, the nose is intense with fresh ripe fruits (strawberry and cherry), notes of smoke, sweet spices and an elegant floral character. A charming and harmonious wine with rich and silky tannins. The finish is intense, long and fresh. Accessible in its youth thanks to its balance, the precision of its tannins and its tension, this wine presents a great potential to age. We recommend pairing it with fillet mignon, beef burgundy and vegetables. We suggest a serving temperature of 16ºC
