Marques de Griñon MDG Emeritus 2013 has a cherry colour with violet reflections. High layer intensity and a pleasing appearance. On the nose, it is a wonderful blend of the three varietals, with the addition of their age. It has high aromatic strength and complexity, with precise black and red fruit scents that blend perfectly with notes of chocolate and spices (tertiary smells), owing to its age in the finest oak barrels. It is very tempting in the mouth, clean, round, elegant, and with a beautiful tasting force. Tannins that are well-balanced have simply enhanced this wonderful experience. Finish in the mouth, where the fruit takes centre stage once more, with cherry and wild fruits dominating. Long and with a tenacity to spare. We recommend matching the wine with a variety of meat meals. We recommend a service temperature of 16ºC.
