It has a ruby colour with purple edges. The smell is relatively complex for a medium ripening, with aromas of black fruit compote (blackberries, cherries), cocoa and ripe notes. The taste is strong, expressive, with the fruit in the foreground. Sufficient acidity gives it freshness and vitality. Roasted and ripe fruit notes with high persistence. It is very versatile at the table, and can be associated with many types of meat (poultry, beef, lamb, pork, etc.) but also with rice, pasta, mushrooms, sausages and semi-ripened cheeses. The optimum serving temperature is 14°C.
